I heard about overnight oats at the gym a while ago but I was never a big fan of oatmeal so I completely ignored the all the rave reviews. My sister loves oatmeal and we saw a couple of recipes online it looked pretty easy so we decided to give it I try. We just used items we had in the kitchen.

Overnight Oats are pretty versatile you can add or interchange any of the ingredients. I am was very happy with the way the oatmeal turned out and was surprised how by the flavor. All the flavors infused and blended amazingly. I now enjoy oatmeal. I was shocked! It is a great and convenient grab and go breakfast.

INGREDIENTS

1 Jar with lid (I used a mason jar)

1/2 cup of Oatmeal

1 Bananas

1 tbsp Brown Sugar (optional)

1/4 tsp Cinnamon

1/2 cup Almond Milk

1/4 cup Pecans

1/4 tsp Chia Seeds

 

DIRECTIONS

Combine all ingredients in a mason jar. 

I just place them in the jar shake the jar. I didn't stir the ingredients at this point I found it easier to mix the ingredients in the morning after they have soften.
